In the early 90’s Texas Instruments got involved in designing a new generation of calculators with a computing power and functionalities similar to those of a computer. They were looking for a Computer Algebra System and a geometry software.
Cabri then became the interactive geometry software selected and adopted by Texas Instruments for use in their most popular graphing calculators: TI-83, TI-84, Voyage 200, TI-92, TI-89.
