History

1986

Cabri I (Interactive Notebook) was created by a French research team headed by Jean-Marie Laborde, after spending several years researching interactive tools for teaching mathematics.

1988

Cabri I was presented with the Apple Trophy, awarded annually to the best achievement in educational software.

1994

Cabri II, successor to Cabri I, was distributed worldwide.
 

1995

Cabri II was integrated into Texas Instruments’ TI-92 graphing calculators.
 

2000

The Cabrilog Company was created in Grenoble, France by Jean-Marie Laborde, and work began on the development of Cabri II Plus and Cabri 3D software.

2002

Worldwide announcement of Cabri II Plus which extended Cabri’s reach to other areas of mathematics (algebra, analysis).

2003

Cabri Jr. introduces dynamic geometry into popular calculators such as TI-83 and TI-84.
 

2004

Worldwide announcement of Cabri 3D as a dynamic way to show mathematics and geometry in space.

2006

With penetration in more than 35 countries, Cabri continue to expand classroom innovation.
