Cabri II Plus shortcut in RM Explorer 2

The goal of this document is to assist people who need to add a shortcut to Cabri II Plus in RM Explorer 2.
The document shows every step of the process. It is extensively illustrated with screenshots. If you are already familiar with RM Explorer 2 and the RM Management Console, there is no special procedure for Cabri II Plus on RMCC3 so long as you use Cabri II Plus version 1.3.1 or above.

Requirements:

An RMCC3 package of Cabri II Plus version 1.3.1 or above. If you have an earlier version, please contact your distributor.
Access to RM Community Connect 3 network Management Console.

Step 1

Log in to RM Management Console (see Deploy a Cabri II Plus package on RMCC3 procedure for detailed steps of this process). Once logged in select Program Sets from Resources in the left window. A list of available Program Sets is now shown on the right window. We chose to add Cabri II Plus to the Core Programs set but you can choose to create a new Program Set. Right click on Core Programs and select Properties.

In this new window, select the Shortcuts tab, then from the Source drop down menu select Available Packages. Once you have selected Cabri II Plus 1.3.1 (or the name of your Cabri package if you chose to give it a different name), available shortcuts for Cabri II Plus are shown in the Available shortcuts window. Select Cabri Geometry II Plus 1.3 and left click on the right arrow to add it to the Selected Shorcuts window.

Once this is done Cabri Geometry II Plus 1.3 appears in the Selected Shortcuts window. Left click OK to validate your changes.

The last three steps are just here to verify that the shorcut has been successfully added.

Left click on Program Sets.

Left click on Core Programs (or any other Program Set where you add a Cabri II Plus shortcut). You should be able to read Cabri Geometry II Plus 1.3 in the list of the Program Set content.

Last validation: launch RM Explorer 2 and left click on Core Programs. You should see a Cabri II Plus icon. Double click it to launch the software!
