The iMuSciCA project

IMuSciCA is a STEAM interdisciplinary approach that redefines the European STEAM programs. This approach uses music as a vehicle for fostering more creativity and learning in science, technology, arts and mathematics.

Why everybody is talking about iMusciCa?

iMuSciCa pursues two goals:

1) interactive music activities encourage students to explore various phenomena in physics, mathematics and technology;

2) educators design an interdisciplinary project or activity in a variety of innovative ways and integrate these technologies into their practices.

Learn science through music? Discover the European project in which Cabrilog is actively working: iMuSciCa.

This project, which began in January 2017 and ends on June 30, 2019, received a grant from the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program under Grant Agreement No. 731861.

Our involvement

Original iMuSciCa technologies are developed to create tools that are accessible to all and to encourage creativity and innovation in science education. Cabrilog is one of the actors, amongst various industrial and academic players, collaborating actively in this project.

Our role is to develop Cabri technology to provide interfaces and resources that meet current and future educational needs of iMuSciCa’s users.

To respond to users’ needs, iMuSciCa will be tested and evaluated during a pilot program that will bring together many pupils and education workers in three European countries: Belgium, Greece and France.
